AMADA has a proven track record in the sheet metal fabrication industry since being established in Japan in 1946. Since, it has expanded globally with manufacturing and technical centres across Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. 

AMADA Oceania officially established a branch office in Auckland and a service center in Christchurch in March 2021. Although there was an existing presence of AMADA machinery through distributors, the move intended to offer direct sales and support. That means our New Zealand steel sheet fabrication customers received faster technical support, servicing, and tooling or spare parts.

Our aim has also been to grow our presence in the NZ steel sheet fabrication industry as a reliable partner. Since 2021, it has been a pleasure to deliver machinery with various functions ranging from blanking, bending, welding, and more. As a leader in sheet metal fabrication machines and technology, we’ve witnessed firsthand the uptick in productivity upon machinery purchase. 

New and existing customers come to us with problems that are common in the steel sheet fabrication industry. Whether it be a lack of trained operators, high manufacturing costs, faulty machinery, or low production quality and defects. AMADA machinery addresses these issues and delivers even beyond many of our client’s expectations. 

Our ‘on the ground’ presence in the NZ sheet metal fabrication industry means we have the latest machinery on display. A short visit to our Auckland Technical Centre allows operators to come and test out the latest technological advancements themselves. Our NZ team is here to provide the support necessary to maximise operation efficiency and exceed expectations. That is AMADA’s role in the New Zealand steel sheet fabrication industry.
