ENSIS-AJe SERIES

High-speed piercing and fast cutting. Ideal for a wide range of different materials and thicknesses.

 

Available with 3, 6, 9, and 12kW fiber laser engines developed by AMADA using 3 and 4kW diode modules, the ENSIS-AJe range considerably increases your production capacity. 

 

The 6kW, 9kW, and 12kW versions utilise AMADA’s Auto Collimation system, for unrivalled laser beam spot control. Combined with AMADA’s original Variable Beam Control technology to adjust the laser mode, this system can process different materials and thicknesses with a single cutting lens. The quality and processing speeds for medium to thick materials, as well as very high-speed piercing, make the ENSIS-AJe the perfect machine to increase your profitability.

FEATURES - ENSIS-AJe SERIES

Dynamic beam control improves thick plate processing performance

  • Machines equipped with high-power oscillators (except 3kW) are equipped with an auto-collimation mechanism that optimally controls the beam diameter and focal position. In combination with a variable beam unit, dynamic beam control improves cutting speed, shortens piercing time, and improves processing quality (cut surface and bevel amount).
  • A beam with a large divergence angle and excessive combustion due to oxygen occur on the lower surface, resulting in a large amount of bevel on the cut surface. Excessive combustion also causes problems with the quality of cut surfaces, edges, and holes.
  • Beam control with auto-collimation function to minimise divergence angle. Cutting with a small diameter nozzle minimises underside combustion due to oxygen and reduces bevel by up to 90%. The quality of cut surfaces, edges, and holes has also been significantly improved, achieving high-quality machining.

AMNC4ie

  • The new AMNC 4ie NC system is developed based on the concept of the "4 e's" to address the key issues in sustainability, namely "human issues" and "environmental issues." In addition to controlling machines and peripheral devices, the AMNC 4ie has enhanced interface functions to connect customers and machines.

Facial Recognition

  • Language and screen display can be switched.

Startup Inspection Guidance

  • Navigation video that allows anyone to perform startup inspections according to the procedures. Management and sharing of inspection history.

Mobile HMI

  • Notification of remote start/end prediction/completion using mobile HMI.

  • Anyone can create high-yield nesting with the i-Camera Assisted System.

Joint Adjustment Function During Processing

  • Adjust the joint strength for each processing condition. This is useful when programming is shared with CO2 lasers.

CO2 Emission Reporting Function

  • CO2 emissions are measured for each component, and reports can be created and filed.

Energy-saving performance unique to fiber lasers

  • A fiber laser is a laser with extremely high energy-saving performance, with an oscillator energy efficiency approximately three times that of CO2, and can significantly reduce power consumption. Since the oscillator structure is also simple, maintenance costs are minimised, enabling operation with low running costs.

A single machine can process everything from thin plates to thick plates

  • ENSIS uses a variable beam unit to create a beam shape that matches the material and plate thickness, allowing for a full range of processing with one machine. This blanking machine is ideal for customers who handle various materials and sheet thicknesses.

FUNCTIONALITY - ENSIS-AJe SERIES

LIS (Laser Integration System)

  • Automates operations related to laser processing, reducing operator variation and waiting time. It supports stable processing with zero downtime and contributes to increased productivity.

Protective glass condition diagnosis function (i-Optics Sensor)

  • This function diagnoses the condition of the protective glass and prompts you to replace it if dirt is detected. Achieves high-quality stable machining.

Processing defect detection (i-Process Monitoring)

  • This function constantly monitors the machining status, detects cutting defects, stops machining, or returns to normal state and allows machining to continue.

Nozzle condition monitoring/automatic centering function (i-Nozzle Checker)*

  • Automates nozzle diagnosis, inspection, and centering, and automatically replaces the nozzle depending on the condition.

Head interference detection/recovery function

  • When interference with the processing head is detected, it automatically enters avoidance action and lifts the Z-axis to the origin position to avoid damage due to interference. This function also enables automatic recovery.

AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS - ENSIS-AJe SERIES

AS-C Pallet Changer

  • Long-time continuous operation of thick plate processing.
  • Process pallet: 10 shelf (standard)
  • Lineup from minimum 5 to maximum 20 shelves.
  • Add the operator support tool to the flexible tool rack (option).

AS-T Twin Tower

  • Compatible with the production of a wide variety of materials from thin to thick sheets.
  • ASFH (2 product pallets, 2 material pallets, 2 processing pallets) + AS-C (10 processing pallets) 2-shelf configuration (standard).

ASFH Fork Type Pallet Changer

  • Long-term continuous operation up to medium-thick plates using packing materials.
  • Automatic operation of product accumulation from material supply.
  • Maximum plate thickness: 12mm.
  • Two product pallets, tow material pallets, and two processing pallets (standard).

MPL-C / MARS-N Manipulator + Automatic Warehouse

  • Retrofittable and expandable automation to support variable-quantity production.
  • MPL-C supports material supply to product accumulation automatically.
  • If connected to a MARS, the number of shelves and station numbers can be customised according to the customer.
  • Connection with multiple blanking machines is also supported.

OVS-D

  • When performing combined machining with NCT, measure the pitch of two reading holes and automatically correct the machining origin misalignment with NCT.
  • *Cannot be selected with ENSIS-RIe

V-monitor

  • Camera images installed inside the machine can be checked in real time on a smartphone or PC. You can check the recorded video at the time of the alarm on the NC.

3-color tower signal light

  • Signal lights and buzzers make it possible to check the operating status of the machine even from a distance.

nozzle changer

  • The necessary nozzle can be automatically replaced according to the cutting conditions. Continuous automatic operation is possible from thin plate to thick plate. (8 standard, 16 optional)

Y-direction conveyor

  • Carry out scraps and small products to the rear (or front) side of the machine.
  • *Cannot be selected with ENSIS-RIe

Large capacity scrap tray

  • The scrap and small product capacity is increased by about 1.8 times, and the division type makes it easy to clean.
  • *Cannot be selected with ENSIS-RIe

i-Camera Assisted System

  • This function recognises materials with a camera and enables manual or automatic cutting and placement of products.

Dual Gas

  • When machining thick mild steel plates with oxygen, we reduce machining defects by using assist gas oxygen in the inner nozzle and air in the outer nozzle.

fiber silky cut

  • This is a processing technology that improves the cutting quality of stainless steel. By forming an optimal beam, it improves surface roughness and dross quality when cutting stainless steel.

Automatic WACS II

  • This system automatically supplies water to the WACS equipment. This system makes it possible to extend the cooling water replenishment cycle.

HP easy cut device

  • Gas with a high nitrogen content can be extracted from compressed air and used as assist gas. A separate compressor is required (1300 liters, 1.37 MPa).

DR cut device

  • By mixing a small amount of air with the assist gas, the proposal for reducing dross in aluminum processing is realised.The gas concentration can be automatically switched using NC control.
