With the increase in specialty plating materials, the setting and management of welding conditions have become enormous in quantity, and in addition, the product shape has become complicated, and the setup has also increased. In addition to models equipped with AMNC, the ID-40 series has evolved.

FEATURES - ID-40 Series

Two types of lineup to improve customers' welding problems

High-end ID-40IV HP NT equipped with twin transformers and capable of handling large currents (maximum short-circuit current: 30kA)

  • High output with maximum short circuit current of 30,000A. In addition to mild steel sheets, we can process a wide range of materials such as AL materials, plated steel sheets, and weld nuts.
  • Equipped with multi-clamp and electrode adjustment mechanism. Significantly shortens the setup time that occurs when replacing electrodes.

Equipped with two pairs of electrodes to reduce setup work: ID-40IV TH NT (Maximum short-circuit current: 30kA)

  • Attach electrodes of different shapes to the left and right electrode holders. Electrode setup between processes can be reduced.
  • Welding conditions are automatically switched by the step weld function, realising product processing without work-in-progress.

Equipped with AMNC-WELD as standard

Digitalisation of the welding process. By digitally managing the welding process that relies on conventional intuition and experience as program data, quality is stabilized and processing time is reduced. It is also an effective tool for company ownership and information sharing of processing know-how.

Reduction of setup time.

  • Equipped with a welding condition database that allows you to set conditions based on work material and electrode used.
  • For repeat products, call saved programs and manage machining conditions and electrode assembly diagrams.
  • Contributes to reducing loss time that occurs during pre-machining setup and machining.

Standard work support tool.

  • Standardise work with "Processing NAVI" that shows welding points in product photos. Even complex workpieces can be processed efficiently without worrying.
  • Manage tip dress with a counter value and notify with the specified number.
  • Notification of start-up inspection items and regular maintenance timing on the NC screen.

Monitoring and management of machining history.

  • Monitors current at all points during welding and notifies when an abnormality occurs.
  • Record the processing history and use it as form data.

High Quality.

  • Good thermal efficiency because the nugget formation temperature is reached in a short time. Demonstrates great power in aluminum welding and welding of surface treatment materials. Equipped with constant current control that monitors the energisation status and instantly corrects when the effective current is insufficient. The interlock mechanism and various alarm notifications when the pump is turned off dramatically reduce the occurrence of defective products during mass production.

High Productivity.

  • Less spatter, less product burning and distortion, and less finishing work. By setting conditions with low processing load, electrode deterioration during processing can be reduced, and it is also possible to set a longer dress tact for reshaping and surface polishing of the electrode.

Ecology.

  • Equipped as standard with a welding power source and integrated circulating cooling system. Contributes to the effective use of water resources compared to water supply type cooling systems. The highly efficient inverter control system greatly reduces the power receiving equipment in the installation factory compared to the single-phase AC system.

FUNCTIONALITY - ID-40 Series

Excellent pressurisation mechanism

  • Since the electro-pneumatic proportional valve pressure setting can be programmed, there is no need to set for each product while looking at the pressure gauge as in the past.
  • 2-stage stroke Cylinder. Quick approach to work stroke position and 2-stage switching of pressure stroke greatly improve work efficiency. Stroke switching can be operated with a foot pedal.

Energy-saving design with cooling water circulation

  • Equipped with a cooling water circulator as standard equipment that eliminates water waste. There is no need to lay water pipes and there are no layout restrictions.
  • By monitoring the flow switch, an interlock is applied so that the electrodes are not adversely affected when the water volume or flow rate decreases. It is an energy-saving design that stops the device if welding does not start for 5 minutes.

Horn fixing by one-touch clamp

  • Since horn clamping is possible without tools, a significant reduction in setup man-hours has been achieved.

Electrode centering fine adjustment mechanism

  • This enables the fine adjustment of the front and back necessary for aligning the tip of the electrode. (with horn detent)

Cooling hose attachment and detachment by one-touch coupler

  • The cooling hose uses a one-touch coupler, making it easy to replace the electrode holder.

chipless switch

  • The upper electrode can be raised and lowered with one touch when dressing the tip. Tip dress pressurisation is performed with soft pressurisation.

electrode holder

  • A stainless steel ring is attached to the tip of the electrode holder. The taper hole is prevented from settling and the life is improved.

Electrode set (optional)

  • We have selected electrodes that are used frequently and have prepared a set of them.

Simple tensile tester (option)

  • As a numerical evaluation of welding strength, a test using a machine can be performed.
