HD-NT Series is a bending machine that enables Deep box shape bend that has been limited to processing so far and expands the processing scope of customers that reduce trial bend.

The full lineup for every need from small to large items, from thin sheet to thick plates, from small to large! Equipped with AMADA’s original hybrid drive system, this eco-machine is also environmentally friendly.

FEATURES - HD-NT Series

Expansion of processing area

Long stroke & high body.

  • The HD-NT series can use high height tools. Deep bending processing that was not possible before is now possible. In addition, since a long distance between blades can be secured, it is easy to remove the product. Machining with a pressure resistance of 1,300 kN/m is now possible, expanding the machining area of ​​thick plates.

Increased distance between blades and stroke.

  • Open height 620mm
  • Stroke 350mm

Change the processing method.

  • With a withstand voltage of 1,300 kN/m, processing time and man-hours can be reduced by changing from bending and cutting to bending.

Reduced precision adjustment

Hybrid drive system.

  • The amount of oil and electricity used can be reduced compared to conventional machines. The change over time is small, the repeatability is improved during long-time operation, and the hydraulic motor drive is only used during slide operation, which saves energy.

1) Hybrid drive system.

  • Positioning unit: D-axis 0.001mm (Repeat accuracy 0.006mm or less)
  • Oil temperature rise (when driving for 8 hours): 20.0°C, 1/3 compared to conventional machine (maximum blade distance change 20 μm, ½ compared to conventional machine)
  • Oil amount: 84% compared to conventional machine (for HD-3503NT)
  • Left and right cylinder single load 50%

2) High precision linear scale.

  • A linear scale that monitors the position of the upper table maintains high repeatability at all times.

3) Auto crowning.

  • Automatically calculates the optimal crowning according to the material, plate thickness, and bending length. By entering the actual angle, the left and right depth correction amount is calculated, and accuracy is achieved in a short time.
  • In addition, AMNC/PC automatically judges 3-point correction and 5-point correction according to the bending length. It shortens the correction value input.

Reduction of trial bending

Angle sensor (Bi-LII *option).

  • Equipped with an angle sensor to reduce trial bending time.

AMNC/PC

  • AMNC/PC with new algorithm. It is an easy-to-use NC that incorporates all of Amada's bending know-how.
  • By digitising the customer's processing know-how and making it company-owned, we can achieve error-free bending.

AGRIP-S

  • Tool fixing and lifting mechanism by lever operation.
  • Punch holder body connection mechanism.
  • Punch holder body & die drop prevention mechanism.
  • 1,300kN/m pressure resistance.

AGRIP-A (option)

  • Compatible with punches with tapered grooves to prevent punches from falling.
  • Width 150 x Height 120mm
  • Dial adjustment by wedge (front and rear slide type).
  • Side entry/side exit, front entry/front exit.

6-axis backgauge (heavy)

  • High-speed, high-precision control of 6 axes (forward/backward, left/right, up/down) by NC.
  • L-axis (back and forth) travel speed: 15m/min
  • Y-axis (left and right) travel speed: 60m/min
  • Z-axis (vertical) travel speed: 3m/min

Various butting (optional)

  • 1) Detachable abutment

Material support (optional)

  • Supports material during bending of heavy material in the intermediate plate.
  • Reduces the burden on work vehicles.

Infrared Digipro (optional)

  • Measure the bending angle of the product with a Jipro and send the measured value to AMNC/PC. AMNC/PC automatically calculates the correction value based on the received data. Prevents correction value input errors and reduces correction value input time.

Laser type safety device AS-01 (option)

  • A self-developed laser safety device designed to prevent danger during bending and not impair workability.
  • In addition to the normal mode for processing flat plate materials, there are functions such as box bending mode for processing materials with rising edges, which are convenient for bending workers.

Side guard Beam type safety device (option)

  • The side guard will protect the inside of the frame gap from the outside. Light beam type safety device can be attached. Consideration is given to preventing danger during bending, and at the same time workability is not impaired.
