The EML-AJe combination machine uniquely and perfectly brings together AMADA’s patented dual servo motor punching technology and a quick, integrated hybrid drive fiber optic laser.

FEATURES - EML-AJe SERIES

High productivity and low running cost with fiber laser

High-speed, low-cost processing with fiber laser.

  • Compared to CO₂ lasers, non-oxidation cutting using nitrogen enables high-speed processing in thin plate processing areas and lower running costs.

Both safety and workability.

  • The table cabin method is adopted to ensure workability and safety just like the conventional machine.

Processing of highly reflective materials.

  • It is possible to process highly reflective materials (aluminum, copper, brass) that were difficult to process with a CO2 laser. Copper, brass, and AL can be processed up to 6mm.

High-speed, high-quality punch processing

Achieving even higher speed punching.

  • A new function has been added to the AC servo direct twin drive, increasing the maximum punch hit rate from the conventional EML-NT (CO2) 400min-1 to 500min-1, which is 1.25 times faster.

High-height upward molding with P&F (option) and reduction of scratches on the back.

  • By holding the plate with a punch and raising only the tip of the molding die, high-height, high-quality molding without distortion is achieved.
  • The upward forming die has the same pass line as the standard die, reducing back scratches and bending.

MPT tap station.

  • By installing a tap station in the turret, the range of punching and tapping can be shared, shortening the programming time and machining time.

Automatic Tool changer that does not stop the machine (Option)

  • Automatic die change is possible with the automatic die changer PDC. Since tools are exchanged during laser processing, it is possible to minimise machine downtime for tool setup and maximise operating rates.
  • Equipped with 220 types of punches and 440 types of dies, it is compatible with variable product and variable volume production.

AMNC4ie

  • The new AMNC 4ie NC system is developed based on the concept of the "4 e's" to address the key issues in sustainability, namely "human issues" and "environmental issues." In addition to controlling machines and peripheral devices, the AMNC 4ie has enhanced interface functions to connect customers and machines.

Facial Recognition

  • Language and screen display can be switched.

Startup Inspection Guidance

  • Navigation video that allows anyone to perform startup inspections according to the procedures. Management and sharing of inspection history.

Mobile HMI

  • Notification of remote start/end prediction/completion using mobile HMI.

CO2 Emission Reporting Function

  • CO2 emissions are measured for each component, and reports can be created and filed.
